Every city has a music scene, but Cincinnati’s deserves all the love. From smooth jazz in coffee shops to alt rock in record stores, there is a band and a venue here that works for anyone and everyone.
The hope for this blog of sorts is to shine a light on local musicians and to tell stories that otherwise may never be heard. The inspiration came to me from an interview of my boyfriend that I did for a college paper, which covered his career as an up and coming guitarist in the city. The discussion we had made me curious about the stories of other local musicians and the journey they have taken to where they are now.
I hope to one day have compiled a collection of stories and bands for you to peruse, and maybe you’ll find your next favorite artist! I encourage anyone who stumbles among this site to give me recommendations of local musicians/bands I should interview next. The more the merrier!
